The rebranding and livery redesign for Air Canada redefined the airline’s visual identity with a sophisticated and modern approach. Inspired by Canada’s secondary color palette, black was introduced as a core element, adding a sleek and premium aesthetic to the design. A significant highlight of the livery is the incorporation of an indigenous mask motif on the cockpit peak, inspired by Canada’s indigenous culture, symbolizing a deep respect for the nation’s heritage and diversity.
To enhance visibility, the Air Canada logo was strategically placed on the aircraft belly, ensuring recognition from the ground. This refined livery design extended into the brand's overall identity, with black becoming a key component across all visual elements, solidifying Air Canada’s positioning as a high-end and globally recognized airline. As Creative Director, I led the launch campaign and unveiling event, celebrating a powerful and thoughtful reimagining of Air Canada’s brand.
